What to Expect at Our Tigard, OR Office
PREPPING FOR YOUR DENTAL APPOINTMENT
At Progressive Periodontics, Implants and Laser Therapy, we do everything we can to help you find an appointment that fits best with your schedule. That’s why we remain responsive and accessible, so even the busiest of patients can expect prompt and effective dental care. Our regular office hours are Tuesday through Friday, from 8am to 4:30pm. We’ll be happy to work with you to find an appointment time that works best and will answer any questions or concerns you may have.

YOUR FIRST VISIT
At your initial appointment, you can expect to go through the following assessment to better understand your medical background and dentistry goals:
- Evaluation – Meet with Dr. Thanik for a thorough examination. He will carefully evaluate your condition and put together a customized treatment plan. At this time, he will happily address any questions you have.
- Treatment Plan – Review your entire treatment plan with our treatment coordinator. She will carefully explain the plan and help answer any questions you may have. You’ll have the opportunity to discuss financing options at this time as well. She will also help you determine your insurance benefits as they apply to your treatment.
- Set Appointment – Once all of your questions have been answered, you’ll have the opportunity to schedule your next visit. We offer a variety of scheduling options during the week and will be happy to help find something that works the best for you.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Since we reserve time especially for our patients, we ask that you please give us 2 business days’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This will give us the opportunity to offer that appointment time to another patient who is in need of periodontal care. Thank you for your understanding and appreciation of this policy.
